Functions
PATA’s Sustainable Tourism Advisory Committee has four functions:-

• To build awareness among stakeholders on how travel and tourism can positively contribute to the natural, economic and socio-cultural environments in Asia Pacific.
• To maintain www.PATA.org/sustainability, a dedicated page on the PATA Web site, as a leading repository of news, information and resources on sustainable tourism policies and practices.
• To respond to requests from PATA’s Board, management, the PATA Foundation and other committees on matters relating to sustainable travel and tourism in Asia Pacific.
• To propose activities and programmes that assist PATA and the PATA Foundation to achieve their objectives.
