Think we need to focus on 'educating' both tourists and hosts on what tourism really is. A holistic view.Then and then only can we expect change in a real sense. Tough call but each of us need to work at it in whatever we do.

Russ Johnson of Travel Media and I worked on improving on a project we did in 1994 together called "World of Many Faces: An Introduction to the Profession of Travel and Tourism" with this in view.
