"Giving Back" While You Travel

We offer a successful community development project that gives ecotourists a chance to provide help to a very rural village in northern Belize called, Indian Church. Thus far this niche in the travel industry has worked very well (although many other operators are also doing this now, but this too sometimes is simply donations and not concrete programs and tangible projects). 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Where can i get more info on your ptroject?
I'm thinking of a project to help a little portuguese village gain life and reorganize itself again and was thinking about various projects.
One of them is to try change food for work. The idea is more or less the following:
Use an existing geriatic organization so i can provide some ancient, natural and organic meals done by village granny's and the tourists who helped cleaning the village forest, do some painting or even just play cards with the elders, etc, could enjoy those traditional dishes for free.
Do you find this valuable?
