Using available resources
Jul 1 2009, 11:00 AM EDT | Post edited: Jul 1 2009, 11:00 AM EDT
Since i work also with property management i noticed that there are many houses that are empty due to the international crisis. After talking to some of the owners i get them to start renting their houses to tourists.
This way the owners make some money and i get to use available touristic resources.
This policy will be backed up by ther offers namely on the cultural, sport and gastronomic areas (contacts are being done so we can provide workshops on typical food, pottery and other activities) in order to offer a bit of us for the visitors to take home.
This activities will take place all year around trying to fight seasonality.
So what you think of it? Please let me know your opinion.
Best regards,
Ricardo Canaveira

Great idea to make use of otherwise wasted living space and to immerse tourists in the community by putting them up in real peoples' houses in real residential areas. Feel free to write this up as a page in its own right. Others can comment on best practices associated with this, from which you can get some ideas. Do you find this valuable?

I'll write on a page a full version of the project so members can have a explicit idea of what i'm doing and how, so they can comment knowing all the data.
Best regards,
