Thank you, Laibcoms, for your great comments about your use of the terms "ASEAN" and "Asean".

Your approach is very logical and though out. Are you Asean?

Some questions to consider:

If you represented ASEAN and you set out to effectively and efficiently promote the region as a regional travel destination to rival Europe and the Caribbean; and to encourage global consumers to plan longer trips and visit more than one Asean (ASEAN-member) nation; do you still think Asean would be a more recognizable term than Southeast Asia?

If you were, hypothetically, to conclude that Southeast Asia is more recognizable among the world's prospective travelers, do you think an excellent opportunity then presents itself to leverage that recognition in order to 1) promote travel to the region; and 2), introduce ASEAN and its vision of integration?
